Lots and lots of hummers today. Talking with J tonight on the way to the USGBC Green Gala, I told him about the weight class exemption from reporting the EPA mileage estimates, and he told me that the same weight class factor makes the hummer a piece of capital equipment, and hence a massive tax credit is given to the purchasers of them in terms of depreciation deduction. I am now more offended than ever before.
