And what better way to launch a car-free day in Los Angeles than to inch slowly towards downtown with a gazillion other drivers alone in their Ford Stompers, smoking cigarettes and talking on their cell phones as they tailgate those pesky little hybrids that keep getting in their way? Rock on, Entitlement. In the absence of an "outbreak of global leadership" we're expected to solve this one on our own, according to the guy on NPR this morning.
